Nicola Milne
Nicola has worked for care related charities for 20 years, in a number of different roles. She has spent time directly supporting individuals with disabilities, managing care providing services and training care workers.

Nicola spent 5 years as Duty Officer for the Red Cross, recruiting, managing and training volunteer first aiders. She draws on this experience when delivering our First Aid at Work and Anaphylaxis Awareness courses.

She has also spent nearly 15 years working in epilepsy. This involved some direct support, launching services, managing care teams and training staff to Care Inspectorate standards. She takes lead on our Epilepsy Awareness and Administration of Midazolam course. These can be delivered privately to your group, or you can join our open sessions, based online or in Edinburgh.

Nicola’s interest in training stems from a degree in Psychology, which focused on the neurophysiology of learning (and forgetting!) She favours non-formal educational learning and delivery which aims to put participant participation at the core of the course.
